The Greenwich Street Stairs are a series of flights along the right-of-way of that thoroughfare which ascend the eastern side of Telegraph Hill to provide a pedestrian thoroughfare connecting Sansome Street and Coit Tower. There are a number of homes along the steps. I climbed them on January 2, 2011 and took these photos looking upward and downward at various locations.
