A trip via BART to Richmond and San Joaquin to Stockton. A discount day pass got me around town
on the SJRTD bus system. Took photos on San Joaquin St., Pacific Ave., Hammer Triangle Station,
and the Downtown Transfer Center.
Both San Joaquin trains consisted of new Siemens Venture cars. Because cab cars were not
yet received, standard Amtrak California engines pulled them. And because cafe cars were
not there yet, Cheez-Its and Pure Life water were made available for snacking.
Among the buses are Gillig 13403 in a Celebrate Stockton livery, Gillig 13405 in breast cancer prevention livery,
and Gillig 13407 in livery honoring those in the armed forces
